Story : The growth of idea with the growth of us

We did some brainstorming and came up a idea like this: What if each of the Terracotta Warriors contains a dead body of Qin Shi Huang (First Emperor of the Qin). Qin Shi Huang asked for a longevity pill. So we made up the dying boy who also need the pill to extend his life. When he take the pill, he will also take to curse that he will die every 10 seconds, leave a dead body on the ground and go back to where he take the pill.

At first, we only tried to discuss about the struggle of live: should we chase the way to live a longer life or not. But after we finished the first part of the game, I found out the main idea of playing our game, the boy needs to use his lives to pave the way for his future life to succeed, is presenting the revolution of science and the progress of civilisation. As we keep developing the game, the game is also giving us new perception of life.

My Harvest : Scope, User Testing, Unity

This game was our first time working as a team and we overestimated our efficiency but I learned to scope our projects and arrange our time to make it possible to achieve.

While making the project, we found that user testing is really important to the project. User testing will help us find out the flaws of user interface and game experience.

In this project I did most of the coding, building the scenes and made the character animation. This was my first time using Unity to build a game. I learned a lot about how to use C# to code in Unity and I started to use prefab. I also learned how to make a 2D skeletal animation.
